Crusty Bread Recipe
Two Loaf Recipe
6 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
3 cups lukewarm water
Whisk together flour, salt and yeast in a large bowl.
Add warm water and stir until loose and sticky.
Cover bowl with cling wrap and set aside for 8 to 24 hours. Over night is best.
Preheat oven to 450
Place cast iron Dutch oven with lid into oven to heat up for 30 minutes.
Shape 1/2 of the dough into a ball and place into hot Dutch oven, cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove cover and continue baking for another 10 to 15 minutes, to get a brown crust.
Remove bread from pot and cool. ENJOY!!
