When someone calls me with a chicken problem I want to help so much that I now make house calls. I call it my “chicken checkup”. I can’t help myself, I just want all the chickens to be safe, happy, and healthy. Today I help a lady named Nancy bring back an old coop that wasn’t working for her hens. They were not happy and stopped laying eggs. She was stuck as what to do to get things back on track. With a little redesign and a good cleaning Nancy told me she is now getting more eggs than she can use. I say “that’s a good problem to have”.
